Congratulations Judge Schroeder!

Robert William “Trey” Schroeder III was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on December 16, 2014, to fill the vacant U.S. district court seat in Texarkana, Texas, vacated by retired Chief Judge David J. Folsom on March 17, 2012. Judge Schroeder received his commission on December 19, 2014. He will preside over one of the largest patent infringement dockets in the United States, including 80% of the Texarkana civil and patent docket, 20% of the Marshall civil and patent docket, and 70% of the Tyler patent docket.
